There is a special place in my heart reserved for LouisiAnime. Maybe it's the cosplayers who always make me feel welcome in their state....maybe it's that with somewhat a smaller con you feel part of the tight knit community...or maybe it's the AWESOME cajun food I get to enjoy while i'm there. I'm going to say all of the above!

I very much enjoyed my time at LouisiAnime and I hope everyone I had photoshoots with (new cosplayers and old) enjoyed them as much as I did.

Update on 2012 conventions I will be attending; San Japan, Afest & Oni-Con (let me know if there are others you would like me to check out and I will definitely look into them)

Another Matsuri done and im left wanting more. More photoshoots, more hangout time with the friends...but overall...im satisfied. I always have a good experience with AM (be it with the staff, cosplayers or other) and this year was no different. I'd like to thank all of the cosplayers who took the time out of their fun weekend to have photoshoots with me and for those who say hey to me at every convention. It definately makes it a lot of fun for me!

My Friday and Saturday Anime Matsuri photoshoot slots are now both booked after 2 pm, however prior to 2 pm on each day I will be having open slots for anyone I come across (first come first serve). Sunday will be an open day for everyone as well. If I've already scheduled with you please MSG me with any questions you have, those of you not scheduled can still contact me about photoshoots to see where I will be during those open slots. This past Saturday I was able to attend Ikkicon, something rare due to my work schedule and the fact that Ikkicon has fallen on New Years the last couple of years. The day went fast and I would have enjoyed to have more time/more photoshoots, however, this will settle my Con Hunger until Anime Matsuri!

Other than working like a mad man this past Christmas, I am working on side projects and looking forward to future cons i'll be attending. I'm doing a lot of brainstorming for the future and possible changes in my current lifestyle. We will see what 2012 brings as I eat cake on my birthday this month while crying about how "I too...would like an arrow to the knee"...lol all the cool kids are doing it!

The problem with running a studio and trying to go to cons at the same time is that when I get back from my con....It's straight to work with no days off until the following week. This doesn't help when you have hundreds upon hundreds of photos to upload. Afest is also one of my most productive cons so there is always a ton of photoshoots there. I had soo many in fact, that this time I decided it would be better to upload my photoshoots by the day instead of after I was done with everything. I think that made it a little easier....

I'm very excited going into October...not only for video game related business (Batman Arkham City!!!), but also for Wedding Con (winks at those of you who are attending)

Novemeber will also be full of video game epiciness as well as trying to have Renfest Times. My next con will most likely be Anime Matsuri. So the new year cannot come fast enough!!
